No. Calm Within is for parents and caregivers who feel overwhelmed or are finding family life difficult. It can be particularly helpful if you're navigating additional needs, neurodiversity or challenging behaviour, but you don't need a diagnosis.
No. You don't need a diagnosis for yourself or your child to take part.
No. Calm Within provides coaching, practical tools and support. It isn't therapy, diagnosis or medical treatment. If something falls outside our scope, we'll encourage you to seek the appropriate professional support.
Absolutely. Calm Within is for parents and caregivers, not just mothers.
That's completely fine. Contact us and we'll help you work out whether Self-Paced, Guided Coaching or Personal Coaching makes the most sense for you.
No. The Guided programme includes eight sessions. If you'd rather have support only when you need it, Personal Coaching is available session by session for R450.
Individual coaching sessions are 45–60 minutes.
Weekly is preferred because it helps maintain momentum, but we understand that family life doesn't always go according to plan. There is some flexibility.
You bring what's happening in your life right now. We'll talk it through, look at what's underneath the situation and work towards a practical next step. The session is personalised rather than following a fixed script.
Yes. Individual coaching sessions can be conducted in either English or Afrikaans. You can choose the language you are most comfortable using when you book.
We're clear about what coaching can and cannot do. If you need medical, psychological, educational or other specialist support, we'll encourage you to speak to an appropriately qualified professional.
The Self-Paced option allows you to work through the programme in your own time. Personal Coaching is also available as an individual session if you need focused support without committing to the full programme.
